Position: Taproom Staff
Location: Break Rock Taproom, Marina Bay, Quincy, MA
Job Type: Part-time
Break Rock Brewing is looking to add two part-time taproom staff. Candidates can have availability for either 1-2 shifts per week or 3-5 shifts per week. We can be flexible on weekday vs weekend, but weekend availability is a plus. Prior service experience is a plus, but not required.

Function at all times with the highest degree of honesty and integrity Taproom Responsibilities: ? Interact with guests, answer questions, and oer craft beer knowledge to curate memorable experiences for all guests ? Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting ? Receive, prepare, and execute service on guest orders ? Work all areas of front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, pouring beers, changing out kegs, restocking, selling retail items and to-go beer, bussing tables, cleaning, and other duties as assigned ? Operate and troubleshoot draft equipment and move and change kegs as necessary ? Utilize POS system for transactions ? General customer service: answering the phone, message-taking from guests for management, etc. ? Maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the taproom, back bar, patio, and restrooms ? Adhere to policies and procedures put in place by Taproom Leads or Management ? Listen to feedback from customers and generate ideas and changes to share with management for operational improvement ? Assist during private events and special releases as necessary ? Ensure guests are being served responsibly ? Additional duties may be assigned as necessary Compensation, Benefits, & Perks: ? Min $10 base/hr plus tips ? Tips average between $40 and $60/hour (pooled) ? Beer and Merchandise: employees are eligible to take home 1 case of beer (Six 4-packs) per month, and all merchandise is 50% o for sta ? 20% discount to friends and family on apparel/merchandise only Requirements: ? 21 years old or older ? Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to both receive feedback and oer ideas ? Strong leadership skills and work ethic ? Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a constantly changing environment ? Must have the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed ? Quick learner who can work with minimal or no supervision ? Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift more than 50 lbs. as needed. Ability to move items of up to 150 lbs with assistance. ? Must be able to stand and walk for long periods ? TIPS certification. If you are not certified, you will be reimbursed for taking the online course ? Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative customers ? Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week ? Location: must live within a 45-minute commute of our taproom and have a reliable form of transportation
