Mel O' Musical Presents: Hadestown: Teen Edition
TICKETS ON SALE NOW! SHOW DATES: Friday, February 6: 7pm Saturday, February 7: 2pm Saturday, February 7: 7pm Sunday, February 8: 2pm DESCRIPTION: This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories ? that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone ? Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell?s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Mature content: although Concord has removed subjects of substance abuse and sexual references from this teen edition, we do advise doing your own research to determine whether you feel it's appropriate for you child(ren).
