Join the South Shore YMCA for the 20th Taste of the South Shore Event The Taste of the South Shore raises funds to benefit the Y’s Send a Kid to Camp appeal, with a goal of giving 500 local children the opportunity to attend South Shore YMCA Resident and Day Camps this summer

WHAT: The Taste of the South Shore is a festive, annual, community event that brings the area’s top restaurants, wineries and breweries together for an evening of celebration to support the South Shore YMCA’s Send a Kid to Camp appeal. This year, the fun continues at our 20th Anniversary Taste of the South Shore After Party at Vincent’s Night Club at Lombardo’s. Area Professionals will mix and mingle in our reserved VIP seating while enjoying light hor d’oeuvres, a free cocktail and exclusive raffles.

WHO: The Taste of the South Shore is Co-chaired by Jonathan Dunn, Owner & Executive Chef at Lavishly Dunn Catering and Event Planning, and Jimmy Liang, Founder/President/Chef at JP Fuji Group. The event will feature roughly 35 local restaurants, wineries and breweries.

WHEN: Thursday, March 24th, 2016 Tastings: After Party: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. 9:00 – 11:00 p.m.

WHERE: Lombardo's 6 Billings Street Randolph, MA

WHY: The Taste of the South Shore is a fundraiser to benefit the YMCA’s Send a Kid to Camp appeal, which supports financial assistance opportunities so that all children have the opportunity to enjoy South Shore YMCA summer camps. The goal of this appeal is not only to raise campership funds, but to also educate the community about the value of camp. At camp, children have the opportunity to be part of a community and are in an environment which fosters belonging, acceptance, independence and relationships. This experience not only develops social skills, self-esteem and overall emotional intelligence, it builds future leaders. Tickets are $125 per person, or $100 when purchased before March 4th. Entry into the After Party is included in Taste of the South Shore ticket purchases. After Party-only tickets are $25 per person.
