QCAP Homebuyer Workshop

Quincy Community Action Programs is pleased to a workshop for First Time Homebuyers on June 16 and June 18, 2016.

The program will provide information about government loans, credit and budget, the mortgage process, legal aspects of homeownership, lead paint laws, fair housing laws, housing discrimination, special loan and closing cost/down payment assistance and predatory lending and mortgage default prevention. A mortgage lender, real estate broker, real estate attorney, home inspector and an insurance agent will provide instruction.

The two-session workshop will meet from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 16 and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18 at Quincy Community Action Programs, 1509 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169. Participants must attend both sessions to receive a certificate of attendance. The cost is $30 per person and is non-refundable.
