On Monday, October 19th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Thomas Crane Library Community Room, 40 Washington Street, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council will be seeking the public’s input to establish housing goals, strategies for achieving those goals, and an implementation plan for the City of Quincy.
The second of two public forums, MAPC is working with the City of Quincy’s Planning and Community Development Department to develop a Housing Production Plan to guide the City in a market-rate and affordable housing preservation and creation strategy. Through community input, the Housing Production Plan will identify the City’s housing needs, demand, opportunities, challenges, and goals for the future. The Plan will also assist our City in meeting Quincy’s state-mandated affordable production target.
