Candy O'Terry will be singing The National Anthem at the semipro football game between the Boston Colts and the Quincy Militia at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 850 Hancock St., Quincy on Saturday, August 20. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and the gate opens at 6 p.m. This is the Militia's last regular season scheduled home game.

There are only a handful of radio personalities in the United States who have experienced the level of success achieved by Boston's Candy O'Terry. She is the 2015 Massachusetts Broadcaster of the Year and is an associate at Brunner Communications where she assists former WCVB TV anchor Liz Brunner with high level media training.
An accomplished singer, actress, master interviewer, host, public speaker and storyteller, she spent 25 years reaching through the radio to connect with listeners in a memorable, authentic way. She is the founder of Magic 106.7's Exceptional Women show, winner of 43 local and national awards for excellence in women's programming and the host of the live interview series The Story Behind Her Success. Candy is a member of the elite Media Performance Institute at Boston Casting where she teaches voice over. A lifelong singer, Candy released her first full length CD Dream Come True in May 2015 and serves as the lead judge for the Emmy award winning TV talent show Community Auditions.
Candy is the Co-Founder & President of Boston Women in Media & Entertainment and is a constant mentor, serving on the Boston College Women's Council, Dream BIG and Strong Women, Strong Girls. Candy swims everyday and is writing a children's book series with her daughter Colleen called Nelson’s Garden.
